Giffard Grenadine Syrup 70cl
18+, T&C apply, Credit subject to status.
Giffard's grenadine, made in Angers since 1885, is the real article - pomegranate-based, deep garnet, sweet and tart in equal measure rather than the one-note red sugar that grenadine has too often become. It brings colour and genuine pomegranate flavour together in a single pour.
A measure sweetens and colours a drink at once, and its density lets it sink through a glass to build the graduated look of a Tequila Sunrise. Because it is made with real fruit rather than flavouring alone, it reads as tart pomegranate rather than plain sweetness. It earns its keep across mocktails and long drinks as readily as in the classics, and a well-sealed bottle keeps for months in the fridge.
How to Use
5-15ml per drink depending on style. For a layered effect, pour last and slowly over the back of a spoon. Refrigerate once opened. Supplied in a 70cl bottle.
Cocktails to Try
Tequila Sunrise, Bacardi Cocktail, Jack Rose, Shirley Temple.
