Patience 2014

Patience 2014
Patience is not simply a prestige cuvée. It is the result of more than a decade of restraint, ageing, and quietly waiting for a wine to prove itself worthy of the name.
Created by Squerryes from exceptional reserve wines held back from the estate’s finest vintages, only the bottles that truly stood the test of time would become Patience. The inaugural 2014 release is limited to just 3,000 bottles.
Inspired by the remarkable story of Patience Warde, merchant, political figure, exile, and ancestor of the Warde family behind Squerryes, the wine carries the same sense of conviction and quiet confidence as the man himself.
The result is one of the most impressive English sparkling wines we’ve tasted in years. Layered, poised and deeply expressive, with remarkable concentration balanced by elegance and precision. A wine built as much for significant moments as it is for serious drinking.
Presented in an extraordinary keepsake box with brass opener and agrafe closure, Patience feels every bit as special as the liquid inside.
A bottle for milestones, long lunches that turn into evenings, and the sort of occasions you remember properly.
