Frontonio, Valdejalon, Las Alas de Frontonio La Tejera 2020 Case of 6
Nestled in the Valdejalón IGP of Aragón, the grapes for this wine come from steep slate and quartzite soils at 640m elevation, where 80-year-old vines yield a remarkably fresh and elegant red. Picked by hand and foot-crushed, the wine ferments with indigenous yeasts and ages 14 months in foudre, revealing a complex profile of kumquat, jasmine, and flint on the nose, with a palate that marries succulent fruit with a crisp, mineral backbone. Its bluish ruby tint and velvety tannins enhance the sensory experience, offering a lengthy, profound finish that underscores its distinguished pedigree.
