English elderflower, picked by hand, is where Elders starts. The blossom flags up an English June and then disappears within weeks, so the distillery layers several elderflower extracts together to hold onto a scent that never sits still for long.

It's made in Kent and built from the county's garden. Alongside the elderflower sit rhubarb and apple, each pulling in its own direction. There's a trick borrowed from the perfume trade doing quiet work here too, a supercritical extract that lifts a vivid, expressive top note straight off the flower, the part that usually fades first in cheaper versions.

What lands in the glass is bright and floral without tipping into syrup. Rhubarb brings a gentle sharpness that keeps the sweetness honest, apple rounds out the middle, and at 20% ABV it stays light enough to drink across a long, warm afternoon. It's vegan, so it slots onto most tables without a second thought.

Think of it as a spritz waiting to happen, the bottle you reach for the moment the sun does, whether that's a garden in July or a terrace at golden hour.

How to Serve

Long over ice, topped with soda or sparkling wine for a spritz; or a simple pour lengthened with chilled fizz and a twist of lemon.

Where to Drink It

American Bar at The Savoy, Dukes Bar or Bar Lotus, all rooms that know their way around a summer aperitif.

Food Pairings

Serve it with summer-fruit desserts, a strawberry tart for one, or a soft, creamy cheese.
