Lemon Drop Recipe
Serves: 1
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 50ml Grey Goose Le Citron Vodka
- 20ml Cointreau
- 15ml Monin Gomme Syrup
- 25ml fresh lemon juice
- Ice
- Caster sugar (for the rim, optional)
- Lemon twist, to garnish
Method
- If desired, rim a chilled coupe or martini glass with fresh lemon juice and dip it into caster sugar.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add the Grey Goose Le Citron Vodka, Cointreau, Monin Gomme Syrup and fresh lemon juice.
- Shake well for 10–15 seconds until thoroughly chilled.
- Double strain into the prepared glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
House Tip
For an extra-refreshing serve, chill your glass in the freezer for a few minutes before pouring. Prefer a sharper cocktail? Reduce the gomme syrup slightly. For a sweeter finish, add an extra 5ml of syrup to suit your taste.
