Patron Silver
Patrón Silver is the bottle that taught a whole generation of bartenders that blanco tequila could be a premium spirit rather than a shot to be endured. It's the unaged core of the range, and everything the brand is known for starts here.
Made at Hacienda Patrón in the highlands of Jalisco from 100% Blue Weber agave, it's crushed the Patrón way — partly on the ancient volcanic-stone tahona wheel, partly by roller mill — then the two juices are combined. That tahona component is what gives even this clear, unaged spirit its slightly rounder, softer texture.
The nose is sweet and citrus-forward: fresh agave, honey, a hint of summer melon. The palate is smooth and approachable — ripe agave sweetness, fresh lime, a touch of vanilla and a light peppery lift, with a faint vegetal note from the tahona. It finishes clean and crisp. At 40% it's soft enough to sip neat, but this is above all a cocktail workhorse: the Margarita it makes is the benchmark most people picture when they order one.
This is the everyday bottle you'll actually reach for — mixing rounds for friends, or a quiet neat pour before dinner.
How to Serve
Lightly chilled and neat in a small glass, or shaken into a Margarita or Paloma over ice. Its citrus does the heavy lifting in a mix.
