The first encounter whispers what decades of maturation have wrought. Citrus rises first - or does it? The nose rewards patience, and rewards it generously. What reads initially as citrus becomes spice. There is a seductive quality here, an ease that belies the complexity beneath. rich oak emerge on the second breath, lingering like a half-remembered conversation. The whole is greater than the sum.
On the palate, this whisky refuses to shout. It murmurs, and you lean in.
