Emmerich Knoll’s exceptional Grüner Veltliner comes from top vineyard sites—Kreutles, Loibenberg, Kellerberg—known for their southern exposure and unique gneiss and loess soils. Fermented in stainless steel and aged on lees in old casks for 6-8 months, this wine is only made in outstanding vintages. Expect aromas of ripe apple, passionfruit, mango, pear, and ginger, with hints of fresh herbs, honey, and minerals. On the palate, it’s rich and powerful, with concentrated fruit, fresh acidity, and a long, spicy finish.
