Springbank 1991 31 Year Old 'Limited'
Distilled in 1991 and matured in a single bourbon hogshead for more than three decades, this Springbank release shows just how remarkable time and patience can be. Only 200 bottles exist, each presented in a hand-finished crystal decanter. Springbank is one of Scotland’s most historic distilleries, family-owned and still working with traditional methods in the coastal town of Campbeltown. Known for whiskies of character and individuality, it produces some of the most sought-after single malts in the world, and this release is no exception. The whisky opens with aromas of ripe fruit, soft toffee, and gentle oak. On the palate, layers of dried fruit and warm spice unfold, with a touch of smoke woven through. The texture is smooth and velvety, leading to a long, assured finish. Bottled at natural cask strength, with no added colour and no chill filtration, this is Springbank at its most authentic. A rare piece of Campbeltown history, crafted for those who appreciate whisky with real character.
