Alzero IGT 2014 is one of the most sought-after wines from the legendary Veneto producer Giuseppe Quintarelli, often called the “master of the Valpolicella region”. Produced in Veneto, this wine is made using Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes that are partially dried using the traditional appassimento method, similar to Amarone production. The 2014 shows intense aromas of black cherry, dried berries, spice, cocoa and tobacco. The palate is rich and powerful yet beautifully balanced, with remarkable depth and a very long finish. A rare and iconic Italian wine with outstanding ageing potential.
