Sourced from a tiny parcel of ancient Albillo Real vines on the slopes of Méntrida (Sierra de Gredos foothills), this white embodies finesse and place. Under the stewardship of Pepe Rodríguez de Vera, the fruit is handled with care, gently pressed and aged in fine French oak to release its character. In the glass the colour is pale gold. On the nose, you’ll find orange blossom, grapefruit rind, crushed almond and a whisper of toasted oak. The palate is lithe and textured: vibrant citrus core, white-stone fruit, subtle creamy spice and a mineral line that keeps the finish clean and lingering. This is a white to savour now with refined ease, and also one to keep in the cool for a few years and watch its subtle layers deepen.
