This autumn, Ardbeg House opens on Islay, an immersive boutique stay with smoky drams, story-themed suites and fire-lit dining.
- Words By Chris Seddon

This autumn marks the unveiling of Ardbeg House, a bold new addition to Islay’s whisky landscape. Located just steps from the legendary distillery, the boutique hotel invites guests to “Drink Ardbeg. Eat Ardbeg. Sleep Ardbeg.” With twelve story-themed suites designed by Russell Sage Studio, a fire-lit communal dining experience, and a bar that hosts nightly whisky rituals, every detail pays homage to Ardbeg’s smoky spirit and the island’s rich heritage. Exclusive releases, immersive interiors, and locally inspired cuisine make Ardbeg House more than a stay - it’s a pilgrimage for whisky lovers and curious travellers alike.
“Whether you’re an Ardbeg devotee or new to smoky malts, you’ll leave with Islay in your soul,” says Ardbeg CEO Caspar MacRae.
