Editors Notes

Absolutely everything you can ask for in a bone dry Riesling. 7 Terroirs is a blend of the seven grosse lage (grand cru) vineyards the estate owns in and around Niederhausen in the Nahe region. Vinified separately and blended, this wine is complex with herbal and smoky-mineral aromas. On the palate, it reveals citrus and stone fruit flavours with powerful elegance. The steep slopes and Nahe River valley influence create a unique microclimate, reflected in the wine's depth and balance. A compelling and sophisticated Riesling that showcases concentrated power and lightness.

Gut Hermannsberg was founded in 1902 as the Königlich-Preussische Weinbaudomäne (Royal Prussian Wine Domain). The pressing house and director's manor were erected in the years following World War I. Gut Hermannsberg is a member of the Verband Deutsche Prädikatsweingüter (VDP), which has classified the estate's roughly 30 hectares of vineyards in Schlossböckelheim, Niederhausen, Traisen and Altenbamberg as VDP.GROSSE LAGEN. Gut Hermannsberg's vineyard are comprised up to 95 percent of Riesling, so they’re quite the masters, with royal ancestry.
